6c's at camp

 this week for writing we had to write about the times we showed some of the 6c's in the activities we did at camp 

Kaupeka at YMCA Wainui Camp for a week

Term 3 week 8 Kaupeka Hub went to YMCA Wainui Camp for 3 nights and 4 days in the activities

at camp we showed a lot of the 6 C’s the ones I think I showed the most is Collaboration and Creativity we went on camp because going on camp cam teach you different skills and it can help you communicate

more with people you don't know

The activity I showed Collaboration in is shelter building because I helped my team build our shelter by

finding sticks and we all collaborated. None of us just sat there watching the rest of us build.

We all had a really fun time building our shelter. I showed creativity in many different activities like the one

in the dinning hall where we had to solve a riddle and I was creative because I thought outside the box and to

get the answer. My favourite part of camp was abseiling because it was really scary going down but after that

i wanted to do it again, A new skill I learn at camp is to keep my stuff neat and tidy, the most challenging part

of camping was trying to stay warm i overcame this by putting more layers of clothes on.

Outside of Camp I do some of the 6 c's like Collaboration by collaborating with activities and I show A Lot

of Character in swimming by telling myself that i can keep swimming even if I feel really tired and i have

character at school when some of the work is challenging i tell myself to not give up, I also use c

ommunication by talking to others when i need someone to talk to. I think that people should use the 6c’s

lot more in there life because it can help make your personality better and life will be easier.

 This week for math we had to learn how to do rates and ratio there were 3 ratio questions and 3 rate questions we had to pick one from each and show how we did it step by step

 this week we had to make a poster of different ways we feel and how we can improve when it happens instead of continuing on doind something bad.

 For reading this week we read books that explained all the different health like mental, physical, spiritual and social. then for the create we haft to find things that make us peaceful i chose a beach a bed me listning to music and my family. all these things make me peaceful

What does inner peace look like to me? inner peace is when you happy on the inside but you just dont show it on the outside if you dont have inner peace you dotn have outer peace.

The beach represents physical health because instead of staying inside i will go outside and get fresh air. The girl with the headphones represent mental health because when i listen to music it calms me down and my mind becomes peacful. Family represents social heath because if you dont socialise with your famiy you coud end up being sad. The bed represents spiritual health because when i sleep i always dream about all the good things in my life instead of the bad things.

the Health i am most at peace a is probably social becasue i always like to meet new people instead of hiding away. The health i need to work on the most is probably physical because i eat a lot of junk food and i need to take care of myself more.

This week for reading we had to read article and find three different genres then write about what ou thought was interesting.

The reason why I picked this article is because I thought it was really interesting that a car park sold for that much amount of money. Apperintly this is the New record for selling a car park if hong kong but a car park for that much money does that mean they need more space for cars because the a getting mre populated.

I thought this one was strange about banning mullets and skinny jeans the reason in this article is understandible but silly. Kim Jong - un thinks that foreigners will influence there contry to where skinny jeans and have muet hair styles.

  Five people stealing lady gagas dog - crimes

it is reall funny to me how five people tried to steal lady gags dogs i thought the would be smart enough and relised that they wouldnt have succeded so those five poeple ended up in jail. How did they steal her dogs well the three dogs were out on there daily walk.
