the yummy cupcake's and bookmarks with Zoe ND,Zoe n,jack,Gabriel and Millie

  P.B.L - Term 1

This term our Project Based Learning (P.B.L) has been about kindness and the big question was: How can we build community through our actions?

First, we explored some collaborative activities and discussed how we could include kindness and build a sense of community through our actions at camp. Next, we were organised into groups where we had to unpack the above question. In our groups we considered how we could spread community and kindness through our entire school community. We decided that we would offer something that was free and would make others happy.

We created an action plan by working together and coming up with ideas to do are p.b.l. the idea we came up with was cupcakes and bookmarks it may sound easy but it really wasn't it lots of time to come up with cupcakes and bookmarks for it we had to make posters and plenty of bookmarks

Reflection:
For our final product our group did reading books to the years 1 2 3 and 4 we also gave out cupcakes to the most behaved children and the other children got cool corner bookmarks the children also got to make there own bookmarks i wasn't the only one doing all this there were Zoe N,Millie,Gabriel and Jack we did this thing were we made a lot of bookmarks and cupcakes it took a lot of work!!!!
we only had time to read one book the kids were very good at listening and they enjoyed it very much we did all this on Monday lunch time

How did our action build a sense of community in the school? The younger students now know our group as role models and people who are kind.

I contributed by making the bookmarks and helping with the ideas. When the younger children were up in our hub, I handed out the bookmarks and helped them to have a good time.

I think the P.B.L might impact on others making the younger children feel happy.

What I learned about working with others was that you work better as a team than working alone
