ReplyDeleteWell done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post about 10 food items you would take with you if you were going on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer!
Noodles, canned baked beans, canned spaghetti, dried mango and dehydrated foods are all awesome foods to pack as they are non-perishable and will therefore last a long time.
It is great to see that you would pack some fruit and vegetables. You really wouldn’t want to get scurvy when you are on a sea voyage!
What meals would you make out of the ingredients on your list?
If there was a fridge or freezer available to use on the ship, would you swap out some of the items you have picked?
If I were going on this sea voyage, I would pack peanut butter. I eat peanut butter every morning, and don’t think I could go a day without it! Plus, peanut butter is full of good, healthy fats, has tons of protein, and lasts a while before expiring.
Nga mihi
thank you for the advice and if there was a freezer and fridge i would probably change the canned baked beans into teriyaki chicken. I also like how you like peanut butter and how you explained peanut butter is full of goods and tons of protein witch also last along time
